The L&S Instructional Design Collaborative featured Professor Revel Sims in an article about community-based learning. Revel, “incorporates mixed-methods action research in the field of housing and community development into his courses. This work is often based on collaborative research oriented around critical urban questions such as demonstrating the link between gentrification and displacement or forms of housing exploitation.”
