DPLA alum, Dr. Ruben Anthony, joined the 2026 Class of Fellows of the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters in recognition of his leadership. Dr. Anthony is a transformative leader whose work in civil rights and economic development has reshaped the landscape of Wisconsin’s urban communities. Anthony has been the President and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Madison since March of 2015. He is leading the fight to build generational wealth for the BIPOC community through homeownership programs, and he is also co-founder of the Black Business Hub.
