The Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture is pleased to announce that a course project focusing on the Fondy Market in Milwaukee was selected for a merit award for analysis and planning through the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. The project was part of the Fall 2020 combined URPL 912 Planning Workshop & LA 563 Regional Design Studio course taught by Assistant Professor Edna Ledesma. For the first time the two courses were combined and MS URPL and BLA/BSLA students worked together to create the award-winning project. WI ASLA will host a virtual showcase of the winning projects on Thursday, July 15th at 7PM CT.
