Danny Schapiro

Danny Schapiro is a double-degree graduate student pursuing an MS in Urban & Regional Planning (URPL), with a focus on transportation planning, and a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) at the La Follette School. His current projects include 3D modeling of future bus shelters for the City of Sun Prairie and conducting survey-based program evaluation for Metro Transit’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system to determine the impact of system features on ridership. He is also a founding member and the Public Relations Director for the Aviation Club at UW-Madison.

Danny moved to Madison in early 2022 and worked at Epic Systems as a Quality Manager on Value-Based Analytics until November 2024. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
