Michael McPhee
Michael McPhee is a graduate student pursuing a MS in Urban & Regional Planning (URPL) with a focus on transportation planning. As a recipient of the Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship, he is also pursuing advanced proficiency in Arabic (MSA).
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Portland, Oregon, Michael has been a resident of Madison for two years. In that time, he worked at UW-Madison facilitating study abroad programs for students interested in learning less-commonly taught languages (LCTLs). Before that, he received a BA in Criminology from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. In his free time, Michael likes to road bike, play and watch tennis and soccer, and hang with his two cats (Winston and Tim).
