Alexei Marquez

Marco (Alexei) Marquez (he/him) is pursuing a Master of Public Affairs and a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning. After graduating from DePaul University Marco spent the last 5 years leading grassroots organizing efforts across Wisconsin for a non-profit organization that trains high school students to become powerful climate activists. After lobbying and working closely with legislators at all levels of government, Marco is excited to pursue a career in government to push forward policies that prioritize the health and well-being of our natural environment and of our marginalized communities, which are so often ignored. In his free time Marco enjoys hiking, biking, playing sports, exploring the Midwest, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
