Ian Jamison

Ian Jamison is an first year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Affairs and a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics. He spent 10 years as a Project Manager in healthcare IT, managing software installs in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and across the United States. In his free time, Ian leads Madison is for People, a group working to address Madison’s housing crisis. Ian’s policy interests are inequality, and creating sustainable, equitable, thriving neighborhoods. He enjoys traveling, watching sports, working on political campaigns, playing with his cat, Pepper, and going for long walks with his wife, Cailey, who patiently listens to his many observations about each neighborhood’s urbanism.
