Samantha Farrell-Folger

Samantha is a landscape architect with over 11 years of experience in multi-disciplinary and landscape architectural firms. Her career has spanned a wide range of projects, from regional planning studies to detailed site design. She is passionate about creating spaces that not only look beautiful but also provide meaningful experiences for users. Her design process involves extensive collaboration with clients and communities to ensure that the final product meets their needs and reflects the unique character of the site. She’s been involved in all facets of landscape architecture including site analysis, schematic/conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, playscape design, sustainable design, planting design, green roof design, cost estimating, construction administration, and community engagement.

Samantha earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture with a Certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She’s a registered landscape architect in WI and MA and has a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) from the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA), reflecting her commitment to designing safe, dynamic, and inclusive play spaces. Her work has focused on connecting children with nature through extensive experience in K-12 and park design projects across the Midwest and East Coast. Samantha currently sits on the leadership panel for ACE WI in Madison, volunteering her time to grow AEC opportunities for high school students in Dane County. Presently, Samantha works at Damon Farber Landscape Architects and has previously worked at SMMA, studioMLA, Saiki Design, and SmithGroup.
