Gary has been with the University of Wisconsin for over 30 years and currently serves as the Director of Campus Planning and Landscape Architecture at UW-Madison, overseeing the development of the 20-year campus master plan and all site planning activities on this spectacular 933-acre university campus. He also is the Director of the 300-acre Lakeshore Nature Preserve and is the historic preservation and environmental affairs officer for the campus. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from UW-Madison (BSLA 1984) and was inducted as a Fellow in the American Society of Landscape Architects in 2004 for his administrative works.
