Zoe Horns

Zoe is a recent graduate student of Michigan Technological University with a Bachelors degree in Applied Ecology and Environmental Science with a focus in Plants, Ecology, and Wetlands. She is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and worked for the Iowa Department of Natural Resources last summer sampling the State Park beaches for levels of bacteria and other parameters to inform the public if the beach was safe to swim in. Zoe is a current graduate student in the Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors – biking, skiing, running – hanging out with friends, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
