Madison Yurubi

Madison Yurubi is a second-year graduate student from Miami, Florida, pursuing her master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Madison graduated from Florida State University in 2019, and currently serves as a student officer in the Wisconsin Student Planning Association, as well as the Project Assistant for the Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture.
In a recent project, Madison assisted Lambert Advisory LLC in leading focus groups for a community development project she’d previously worked on during her internship with the firm in 2014. The project, funded by the U.S. EDA, was to develop a regional economic development strategy for a diverse region with urban, suburban, and rural areas known as South Miami-Dade. Since finishing this work Madison has been commissioned for her work in InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
Madison is interested in topics of urban design, regional planning, and community development, and hopes to further develop her skills in Geographic Information Systems.
