My broad background in computer and IT issues was gained while I was making other plans. I am responsible for the Planning and Landscape Architecture Department labs, computers, network, servers, printers and scanners, student logins, software maintenance and installation. I currently split 3/4 of my time at PLA and 1/4  time as a GIS specialist at the Land Information & Computer Graphics Facility.

My interests include Permaculture (I have 2 PDCs), gardening, winemaking, aquaponics, energy, community, restorative justice, and science fiction. I take care of chickens, bees, fruit and nut trees and shrubs on 1.17 acres in the City of Madison.
