Jamie Valentine

A graduate student in Urban and Regional Planning MS degree program, Jamie Valentine intends on improving the world through collaboration across disciplines. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Geography from University of Wisconsin-Madison, an associate degree in Architectural Technologies from Madison Area Technical College, and an associate degree in Anthropology from University of Wisconsin Colleges. Professionally, Jamie has worked in academic institutions, architecture, and civil and environmental engineering firms. She has served as a volunteer with Engineers Without Borders, Habitat for Humanity, and the Nature Conservancy. Jamie’s research interests are in planning and design, water and energy, land use, and infrastructure.

In addition to learning, Jamie enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends, particularly rock climbing and mountain biking.
