Genevieve Kohn


Genevieve Kohn is a first-year master’s student pursuing a degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Genevieve recently graduated in May 2019 from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainability and Resilience and a minor in Sociology. Over the summer Genevieve worked as a Planning Intern for the City of New Berlin.

Born and raised in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, just a few miles north of the City of Milwaukee, Genevieve is glad to be back studying in Wisconsin. Currently, she is working with Dr. Carey McAndrews on collaborative research with University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee,  studying connections between transportation and gender. In her free time, Genevieve enjoys yoga and spending time outside.
