Colin Kafka is a second-year graduate student in the Urban and Regional Planning program. Colin graduated from UW Oshkosh in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and received certificates in GIS and Business Economics. Coming from Denmark, Wisconsin, Colin has an interest in how planning can tackle the challenges rural areas face today. While he is interested in general Urban and Regional Planning, he also wants to learn more about regional planning, small town and rural planning, and economic development. In the future, he would like to use his growing knowledge and skill set in GIS, geography, and planning to work diligently in the public sector.
Outside of class he enjoys reading, working out, spending time outside, and being with family and friends.
