Samantha Jurvich

Samantha Jurvich (she/her) is a Master’s student in the Urban and Regional Planning and Public Affairs programs and the Energy Analysis and Policy certificate program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Samantha earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola University Chicago, where she served on the Student Environmental Alliance’s board. In May of 2022, she joined Wisconsin’s Public Service Commission, assisting the Commission in evaluating the Non-profit Access Grant for telecommunications. Samantha is interested in the intersections of sustainable planning and equity, as is evidenced by her current position as a Digital Equity Outreach Specialist for the Commission. In her free time, she enjoys craft projects, gardening, and exploring Madison.
