Cathryn Herlihey

Cathryn Herlihey (she/her) is a double degree Master’s student in the Urban and Regional Planning and Water Resource Management programs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. Cathryn worked for 8 years in organic agriculture including running her own CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm where she sold vegetables to local consumers while advocating for ecological and equitable farming systems. At UW–Madison, Cathryn has worked with CIAS (Center of Integrated Agricultural Systems) and UW-Extension offices on projects concerning natural resource management and food systems.
