Kyle Estrada

Kyle (he/they) is a second-year master’s student in the Urban and Regional Planning program at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Originally from the Florida Keys, they received their Bachelor of Science degrees in Geography and a combined Social Sciences degree in Anthropology and Sociology at the Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.

Research interests include place and identity, green planning, walkability and transportation, urban design, and music and the arts. Kyle also has a background in queer theory and looks to approach planning from a queer and decolonial lens.

In their free time, Kyle can be found on nature trails; listening to The Cranberries and driving along the Wisconsin countryside; or in the apartment doing some cooking.
