Nina Comiskey
Nina Comiskey (she/her) is a first-year master’s student in Urban and Regional Planning at UW-Madison. She is interested the capacity of parks and public outdoor spaces to bolster individual wellbeing, provide community building and gathering spaces, and support diverse and thriving ecosystems through a lens of social equity. She holds a B.S. from UW-Madison in Horticulture and Environmental Studies. Her past work includes starting an organic vegetable farm, conducting horticultural research, and implementing environmental sustainability initiatives at large food companies. She is also interested in contemplative science and is a teaching assistant for the undergraduate course “The Art and Science of Human Flourishing.”
