Rachel is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. She completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Since graduating, Rachel has worked for Verona Public Works as a GIS Technician, gaining experience in land use and spatial data management. She is currently employed as a Land Records Technician for Dane County Planning and Development, where she utilizes her skills and interests to manage parcel data for the county’s Remonumentation Project.
Rachel hopes to gain a deeper understanding of GIS applications in planning, natural resource management, and regional planning to further her work in the local public sector.
When she is not studying, Rachel enjoys hiking with her husband and dog at state parks, reading, and disc-golfing.
