Madeline was born and raised in Michigan, and earned her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University in Fisheries and Wildlife, with a concentration in Conservation Biology. During her time at MSU, she focused on human dimensions in wildlife management and conservation ethics. Madeline is currently in the MS Landscape Architecture program, where she is interested in restoring habitat for wildlife and human benefit and understanding ways of encouraging stewardship on private land.
Outside of class she can usually be found bird watching, hiking, painting, or tending to her growing collection of houseplants.
