Hannah is a first-year Master’s student in the Urban and Regional Planning program. She got her BS in Environmental Science at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She grew up in a small town in Northwest Ohio, where she learned the value of community. Hannah aspires to build strong communities through urban planning, and to study the health and economic benefits of such communities. She is especially interested in the subjects of gentrification, sustainable transportation, greenspace, and food security. Hannah currently teaches in the Communication Arts department at UW. She enjoys sailing, hiking, baking, reading, and dancing in her free time.
