Nathan received his bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. After graduation, Nathan began his professional career at Metro Transit in the Transit Information Department, where he relayed critical route and transit information to riders. After his time at Metro Transit and relocating from Minnesota, Nathan decided to further his education and return to graduate school.
Nathan is a second year Master’s student in the Urban and Regional Planning program. His focus is on transportation planning and the economic effects of public transportation systems. Nathan has held two internships with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation during his time in the program, both in transportation planning and public transit.
He is also the current WSPA American Planning Association Student Liaison and Media Outreach Coordinator for the 2017-2018 academic year. In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending time outdoors, biking, and spending time with his family.
