Common Wealth Development is excited to announce an opening for the Director of Housing Operations to lead our team in the direction and management of over 170 units of housing on Madison’s east and west side and supervise a housing team of 10+ housing administration and maintenance staff. The successful candidate will lead management and maintenance staff, oversee compliance and reporting, rent collection and financial management, supervision, program planning, and budgeting.
We’re looking for someone who brings a deep understanding of low-moderate housing programs, particularly Section 8, Federal HOME, and Section 42 Low-Income Tax Credit housing programs. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits, including a generous paid leave package and health insurance
This is a full-time position with some evening and weekend hours required. Annual salary is $85,000.00 per year, with full benefits. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and regular access to an insured car.
Common Wealth offers a $2,000.00 bonus (annually) to employees who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
