The University of Wisconsin-Madison Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) Department are looking for a Director of Campus Planning.
The Director of Campus Planning assists the University Architect with various master plans and serves as the custodian of University’s comprehensive repository of information and ensures that the University’s past, present, and future in terms of campus planning are readily accessible and well-documented. This position leads the Campus Planning team, which is responsible for interpreting, updating, and recommending strategies that are aligned with the Campus Master Plan. The Director of Campus Planning also serves as a liaison between the City of Madison, our adjacent neighborhoods, and the campus community to ensure expectations are managed and site development is viewed within the campus context.
General responsibilities are as followed: Develops budget and policy and provides leadership for the university on physical development projects in support of efficient and effective institutional capital facilities planning initiatives. Participates in a leadership role in the development of the biennial capital development plan.
