Under general supervision and direction of the Village’s Administrator, this non-union staff person serves as the organizational linchpin between multiple departments and the public we serve. This member of the Village Staff routinely performs a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties in support of furthering the Village Board’s organizational priorities along with the Village’s established mission, vision, and goals. The position also requires an individual familiar with Zoning regulations and the implementation thereof. This position is unique and so must be the person who fills it. The incumbent will work not only in close concert with the Village Administrator, but also the Deputy Clerk, Deputy Treasurer, Building Inspection Department, and Public Works/Parks Department. The incumbent requires a high degree of professionalism, independent judgment and the overall ability to work with all levels within the Village government.
