The USDA Forest Service Southwestern Region will soon be advertising and filling 1 Landscape Architect Not to Exceed (NTE) term and/or temporary promotion full-time position.
This position will serve the USDA Forest Service Southwestern Region Regional Office and 11 National Forests across the region with professional landscape architecture services in support of projects for the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA). The Southwestern Region includes six national forests in Arizona, five national forests and a national grassland in New Mexico, and one national grassland each in Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle.
This is a detail/temporary promotion/term position not to exceed one year, but may be extended an additional four years for a total of five years. This term/detail/temporary promotion may be made permanent without further competition. Current OPM general schedule locality pay tables are available here.
