Under the supervision of the Senior Landscape Architect, provide support for preparation of park master plans, shared use trail plans, concept site development plans, signage and grading plans. May provide administrative support for small scale construction contracts for a variety of park facility restoration and development projects. Other work tasks may include providing full time park planning staff support for the preparation of regulatory permits for park development projects, construction material and cost estimating, and creating signage and graphic exhibits for a variety of park planning and development projects.
Example of duties:
Provide administrative support on a variety of park and trail planning projects. Provide administrative support for public information meeting preparation. Prepare regulatory permits for staff review. Draft concept park and trail plans for staff review. Prepare draft request for quotations (RFQs) for small scale park development projects. Prepare draft RFQs for small scale building repair and maintenance projects. Assist with on-site construction field staking. Prepare graphic exhibits and signage.
