The Planning Division of the Columbus Department of Development seeks qualified candidates to fill a Planner II positions focused on historic preservation. The Planning Division values diversity in our workforce. The City’s preservation program provides staffing to five historic architectural review commissions and oversees the Columbus Register of Historic Properties. Positions involve working with a wide variety of stakeholders. Candidates should be organized, dependable and detail oriented. They should also have strong communication skills, a working knowledge of historic preservation, city planning, and development review.
