Planner II position (Historic Preservation) with the City of Columbus, Ohio

The Planning Division of the Columbus Department of Development seeks qualified candidates to fill a Planner II positions focused on historic preservation.  The Planning Division values diversity in our workforce. As stated by the Mayor’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion, our aim is to reflect the diversity of the citizens that makeup the population of the City of Columbus.
The City’s preservation program provides staffing to five historic architectural review commissions and oversees the Columbus Register of Historic Properties. Positions involve working with a wide variety of stakeholders.  Candidates should be organized, dependable and detail oriented. They should also have strong communication skills, a working knowledge of historic preservation, city planning, and development review.
