Langlade County Land Conservationist

Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours a week) Land Conservationist position in the Land Records and Regulations Department. The purpose of this position is to develop, implement and coordinate various Land Conservation programs with landowners along with local, state and federal agencies, oversee day to day operations, and to serve as the Land Conservationist as authorized under WI State Statute 92.09

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Land Conservation, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Health, Soil Conservationist, Agricultural Science, Environmental Studies, or related field with one year of experience or any combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Proficient in the use of AUTOCAD a plus.

SALARY/Rate: $23.45 to $27.28 an hour(non-exempt), commensurate with qualifications and experience. Competitive benefit package offered.
