Conservation Programs Analyst

This position will be responsible for initiating, monitoring and managing complex and high-profile land and water resources projects, including potential new and emerging topical areas such as sustainable agriculture and climate change. This position also will be responsible for all aspects of the Bureau’s 5 administrative rules – ATCP 48495051, and 52 — from analysis and drafting to implementation and program direction. These administrative rules guide nearly all of the Bureau’s programs and continuously require extensive revisions that require input from numerous stakeholders. This person will also be the lead analyst for targeted performance standards and the related technical standards including the proposed standard for nitrates. Finally, this position will also be responsible for the bureau’s budgetary and fiscal matters including preparation of fiscal estimates on proposed legislation. Deadline to apply is March 16th, please access the link for additional details.
