Urban Ecology Center Paid Summer Internships

We’re still looking forward to winter fun, but summer will be here before we know it – and that means we’re on the lookout for interns to join the UEC team during our busiest months!

If you or someone you know would like to be an intern with the Urban Ecology Center this summer, now is the time to apply. Our paid summer interns provide valuable help and receive hands-on experience in a variety of areas.

Community Programs: Engage with our communities and help lead urban outdoor adventures such as paddling, climbing wall facilitation, biking, and much more

Community Science & Science Communication: Conduct academic research on bats, birds, frogs, and a variety of other native wildlife and help tell stories with data

Land Stewardship: Restore native plant systems and removing invasive species in our urban green spaces

Land Stewardship & Volunteer Coordination: Work with the land stewardship team and also learn the nuts and bolts of working with and guiding volunteers

Marketing & Photography: Help document and promote all of the Center’s summer activity through photography, blog writing, and more

Summer Camp: Assist with Summer Camps along with our environmental educators!
