The Janesville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) seeks applications for a
summer planning internship. The MPO intern will assist with a variety of transportation
planning projects and plans, including an update of the MPO’s Long Range
Transportation Plan, as well as a variety of other transportation and planning-related
projects as assigned.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience with ESRI ArcGIS software and be
proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidates must be self-motivated, detail
oriented, have strong writing skills, and be able to think both creatively and analytically.
Preference will be given to applicants who are enrolled in a graduate school level urban
planning program or a related field. Posted hourly rate is $16.00/Hour.
