Duties

Summary

About the Position: This is an Interdisciplinary position with USACE, Southwestern Division, Fort Worth District, Regional Planning and Environmental Center. This position may be filled at the GS-07, GS-09 or GS-11 level with non-competitive promotion potential to the full performance GS-11. This position may be located in Fort Worth, TX; Galveston, TX; Little Rock, AR; or Tulsa, OK. The duty location chosen is at the discretion of management and will be determined at the time of selection.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an active member of the project team responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned master planning projects.
  • Integrate governmental customers’ needs into a comprehensive master plan.
  • Support technical assistance in the development of various master planning products.
  • Conduct studies and investigations to determine the best uses for lands and facilities.
  • Performs updates of military and civil master plans.
  • Manage project milestones and budgets from planning through completion.
  • Analyze cost reports to assure charges are authorized and appropriate.
  • Review project cost and schedule changes.
  • Perform contract oversight of projects to ensure contracts meet the authorized scope.
