On Tuesday, April 9th, Departments across campus rallied alumni, students, and friends for the first, annual Day of the Badger. The University dedicated 1,848 minutes (a tribute to the school’s founding), to raise funds towards helping UW remain a world-class educational institution.
We are thrilled to announce out of the 47 departments, within the College of Letters and Science, the Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture placed 13th. The Department raised $4,400 thanks to the support of 41 donors! A big thank you to everyone who donated, and all those who supported through liking, sharing, or posting about the event on social media. The results were a kind reminder of the support the Department has received and continues to receive over the years. If you missed the event, but would like to donate to our Department, you can still make a donation today! Thank you for making this year’s Day of the Badger one to remember – until next year!
